Urban Development and Sustainability – a Mayor Challenge for Waste Management in the 21st Century

The International Solid Waste Association (ISWA)is organizing its World Congress on 15.-18.11.2010 in Hamburg, Germany, focussing on the topic "Urban Development and Sustainability – a Mayor Challenge for Waste Management in the 21st Century".

ISWA World Congress offers you the chance to:

• Participate in an international forum
• Share experiences with outstanding experts
• Find out all about technical innovations in handling and treatment of waste
• Take part in Research and Practice of waste management
• Hear about related aspects to urban development.
• See the impact of waste on a sustainable development in the cities.

The International Solid Waste Association, ISWA, is the international association of waste industry. There are 37 national members and around 1000 private or organisational members from science, administration and the waste industry. The aim of ISWA is to develop international sustainable waste management. Within the yearly events of the international waste industry, the ISWA World Congress 2010 in Hamburg is the culminating point of ISWA´s activities.
