The Waste-to-Energy Research and Technology Council (WtERT) is an international top-tier-technical group that brings together engineers, scientists and managers from industry, universities and government with the objective of advancing the goals of sustainable waste management globally.

The aim of WtERT is the global promotion of recovering energy and materials from waste. WtERT Germany wants to bring together the experience gained in the country and spread it - even beyond the German borders. WtERT Germany is committed to the topics of thermal and biological waste treatment as well as landfill gas utilization, with a focus on thermal treatment.

The new WtERT online presence offers international information on waste-to-energy, contacts and room for expert discussions. It furnishes you with latest information on waste-to-energy events and the council's current activities.
