CReED (Center for Research, Education and Demonstration in Waste Management) is a national German center for research and education in waste and resource management. It offers the opportunity to visit and to experience state of the art waste management technologies as well as getting trained in their application. Thus, the required “capacity” for the implementation of modern waste management systems is generated.
CReED provides practical and work-related training on different levels of interest – for facility managers, engineers, scientists and leading management personnel. At CReED research and development projects with practical background can be carried out in large scale – either by research staff of the center or as a visiting scientist. CReED provides access to a network of international well-established experts and companies in the area of waste management and environmental technologies.
At CReED state of the art technologies can be visited and experienced directly and in detail. German companies exhibit their applications, equipment and machinery - in real action. The cooperation of internationally renowned scientists, experts in applied science and committed staff creates an environment, where visitors and clients will learn about the most advanced concepts and techniques of waste management and environmental technology in theory and practice.
