Britain plans investments into the construction of recycling and thermal treatment plants of about to £9 billion until 2020, in order to reach its waste strategy’s goals and the EU waste targets. The use of waste and biomass as a source of energy are strongly promoted by the British government.
For the German recycling and waste management industry with its innovative technology and know-how, this offers plenty of interesting perspectives and chances for cooperation. In order to use this potential, German and British experts will give you important insights into the sector. Additionally, they will provide you with tips on finance and funding mechanisms, on technical aspects and local contact points.
