As of: 19.08.2010CDM units in four focus countries

India, China, Brazil and the MENA region possess particularly high potentials for CDM projects. The German GTZ (German society for technical cooperation) has therefore established a local CDM unit in those countries. The CDM units support cooperation of local companies and institutions and German companies in CDM projects.

Their activities are aimed especially at German SMEs participating in the emission trading system and local cooperation partners. The CDM units provide information on the realization of CDM projects in the host countries and help companies building up a relevant networks. They are contact partner for questions arising prior to and during preparation and realization of CDM projects.
