An enormous amount of know-how has been acquired and is still being acquired in the field of German recycling and efficiency technologies over the past few decades. Many areas of that know-how are regularly shared at events and are in part documented. This portal provides some information on ongoing or recently completed projects that are promoted and documented

• as part of research activities at some German,     universities
• with public funding, for example from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

Further information is available in the databases of the    Federal Environmental Agency (UBA), in particular UFORDAT, as well as via the Cleaner Production Germany    Cleaner Production Germany portal.

Comprehensive information and documents on recycling and efficiency technologies is available in the privately operated    ASK-EU - Access to Sustainable Knowledge portal . A charge is made for accessing many of the available articles.
