RETech starts a cooperation project with Ghana

The project proposal submitted by RETech at Sequa with the official title “Small-scale-measure between German Recycling Technologies and Waste Management Partnership e.V. (RETech) and Environment360 in Ghana” meanwhile have been reviewed, approved and authorized by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conversation and Nuclear Safety. The project will be launched on 1st December 2020.The RETech members Nehlsen AG, BlackForest Solution GmbH, University Rostock and Eclareon GmbH supported the application process thanks to their operational readiness, and also will accompany the project in Ghana as short-term-experts.

The project will be implemented for a period of 1 year. Should the 1-year-small-scale-measure be successful for all the parties involved, is it possible that this cooperation will be transformed in a classical chamber partnership and twinning association with two phases with a three-year term.

The CEO of the Ghanaian partner association, Ms. Cordie Aziz-Nash is also excited about the cooperation. Additionally, to trainings and training courses to capacitate primarily Start-Ups, young companies and SMEs with the knowledge of different waste management topics, RETech will support  Environment 360°/PAAG with their knowledge in organization development and help to shape political processes.
