4.1 Visit the website

Every access to the website will be stored on the web server in a protocol file for a maximum of 24 hours exclusively for the purpose of data security. The protocol file includes the following data:

  • files accessed
  • date and time of access
  • volume of data transferred
  • notice whether data was successfully accessed
  • IP address of the user or provider
  • internet address of last internet page visited (referrer)
  • information about the programme recalling data (user agent)

It is impossible to identify you by the IP number from the server log file and this will not be attempted.

An IP address will only be analysed in case of an attack on the Internet infrastructure, in case of breach of the public order or in other cases of illegal actions in connection with the website. An analysis of the IP number to reveal the identity of the user can only be made via the provider used and only if a prosecutor institutes an investigation.

The data stored will not be used for statistical purposes. We do not pass on this data to third parties for commercial or non-commercial use.

5.1 Collection of statistics

Data is collected on this website for statistical and optimisation purposes using the webtracking tools Matomo, former Piwik. The tool uses cookies, which are text files that are stored on your computer, to help us analyse the use of the website. To this end, the use of information generated by the cookie (including your anonymized IP address) is transmitted to our server and stored. This function can be deactivated.

The information produced by the cookie is used exclusively for statistical purposes and the improvement of the internet presence and server. Your IP address is anonymised and cannot be traced back to you. It will not be shared with third parties.

When you access a page, data about the visit is stored. 5.2 Opting out of data collection

5.3 Integration of Google Maps

The German RETech Partnership website uses Google Maps API to display geographic information. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data about the use of the Maps features by visitors to the Websites.
