"The role of the circular economy in achieving climate and environmental protection goals"
Implemented waste management and recycling as essential components of a living circular economy are indispensable for achieving climate and environmental protection goals. How the potential can be raised more efficiently on an international level, with Germany as the driver, is what we will be debating for two days. GreenTech "Made in Germany" is more in demand than ever.
To this end, our two-day conference entitled "The Role of the Circular Economy in Achieving Environmental and Climate Protection Targets" will be held in Berlin on November 23 and 24, 2023. We, German RETech Partnership e.V. (RETech) are organizing the conference and are supported by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment and Consumer Protection (BMUV) as a strategic partner of the Export Initiative for Environmental Protection (EXI).
The focus is on the exchange between politics, which acts as a framework, and the economy, which is responsible for the implementation of the projects and for achieving the goals in practice. In the context of expert presentations and interactive formats, experts from German politics and the circular economy from the field of waste and recycling management will discuss political and economic developments, trends and best practices on an international level. In addition, there will be many opportunities to establish new business and cooperation opportunities as well as personal contacts.
Program
The program is divided into a total of 5 thematic blocks that address the interplay between various pillars of the circular economy, both nationally and internationally. In addition to technical solutions for the planning and implementation of functioning circular economy concepts, the regulatory framework, sales markets and financing options play a key role.
