First international conference of TouMaLi

Our members Universität Rostock, BlackForest Solutions GmbH, adelphi and Landbell Group togehter with Leibniz-Institute for Baltic Sea Research Warnemünde startet last year the project TouMaLi. A project that aims to develop sustainable waste management solutions for the tourism sector in North Africa. The first international conference of TouMaLi focus on the question "How can the design of efficient waste management systems contribute to sustainable tourism and the protection of marine ecosystems?"

October 10th & 11th, 2022 in Alexandria.
Under the auspices of the Arab Academy, experts, decision makers and the tourism sector will discuss and present key ideas to prevent tourism-related marine litter in Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia.
