RETech - new partner of EXI

New partnership: German RETech Partnership strengthens sustainable waste and circular economy
The transfer of German know-how, products and services promotes the development of a sustainable circular economy worldwide and strengthens the associated positive effects for climate and resource protection, environmental relief, the economy and social living conditions. Germany has a great deal of experience in this area and is regarded internationally as a role model.
In order to be able to leverage this potential even better internationally, German technology and consulting companies in this sector, and in particular the many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), will be supported structurally and organizationally in the future by the German RETech Partnership e.V. (RETech) as a strategic partner of EXI.
"Within the scope of this mandate, RETech will support the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV) in the important task of making a significant contribution worldwide to the development of sustainable circular economy structures and thus to climate and resource protection. With RETech, we have been able to gain a very competent partner with international experience and an extensive network," agree Dr. Andreas Jaron, head of the department for international affairs of the circular economy, and the head of the foreign trade department at the BMUV, Nilgün Parker.
RETech will contribute to the further internationalization of German green tech SMEs through targeted consulting and networking with other German institutions relevant for international know-how and technology transfer (especially research/science, associations, ministries, public authorities), public relations work and operational support for foreign market development - especially through joint market preparation activities.
"We are pleased to have been awarded the project "Support and strengthening of German GreenTech companies for internationalization and establishment of sustainable recycling and waste management concepts abroad" within the framework of the Export Initiative Environmental Technologies," says Dr. Armin Vogel, Chairman of the Board of German RETech Partnership e.V. and Head of Business Unit Waste and Packaging at SSI SCHAEFER.
