Cooperation

RETech promotes the cooperation of members with interested decision makers from abroad as well as the exchange of information and experience within the working groups. The working groups within RETech are the main instrument for building a network for its members in the focus countries in order to strengthen the position of German recycling industry and research under consideration of regional characteristics. Experts from industry, research and consultation have teamed up in the RETech working groups. Members prepare in cooperation with the advisory body individual solutions to problems of the recycling and waste management industry, which are adapted to selected target countries. In addition, joint projects are initiated and long-term contacts are established. The respective sites of other working group provide more information on current projects and plans. The working groups prepare of individual solutions for all-inclusive waste management concepts in selected target countries, considering country-specific facts. Thus, the German know-how can be targeted in basic projects in the waste disposal sector of developing and emerging countries.
